This week we are going to be sharing some new updates coming to Age of Empires Online in the Celt release and Bugchilada. Allow me to elaborate:

The Tech Tree
One exciting piece of news we’re announcing today is about the Tech Tree. When you progress to a new Age you will now unlock all units and buildings for the specific Age. In other words, all buildings and mobile units unlock automatically at the start of their associated age. Yay! and Yay again!

我们今天宣布的重要消息之一就是科技树。现在当你升级到一个新的时代,这个时代特有的单位和建筑将被解锁。换句话说,就是所有的可移动单位和建筑将会被自动解锁,当你到达相应的时代。(感觉这句话就是在翻来覆去的说^^)
Aging Up and XP
Age 3 and Age 4 can now be attained at earlier levels. Some items have had their minimum level requirements adjusted in order to support this change.
- Age 3 will now be achieved at Level 7 (was 10)
- Age 4 will now be achieved at Level 15 (was 20)
大意:时代的晋升和经验更改

In addition, nearly all quests and game modes in the game have had their experience rewards boosted:
o XP increased by 10-300% for the Core campaign quests/ Argos and Cyprus
o XP increased by 30-60% for PvP match victories
o XP increased by 30-60% for scaling repeatable quests (like Neighborly Defense)
o XP increased by 20-80% for Defense of Crete 20 Waves
-20 Waves now averages more than twice the XP from 10 Waves, in recognition of the greater degree of risk of failure
o XP increased by 20-100% for Defense of Crete 30 Waves
-30 Waves now averages more than three times the XP from 10 Waves, in recognition of the greater degree of risk of failure
o XP increased from 150K to 250K for "The Elite Meet in Crete"
o XP increased by 20-100% for Skirmish Hall victories
o XP increased by 200-300% for Skirmish Hall globals
大意:另外,游戏中几乎所有的任务和游戏模式所给的经验值都增加了:
(1)阿戈斯和塞浦路斯的核心战役任务经验值增加10-300%;

Start in-Quest
When you begin playing a new civilization, you will start directly in-quest. This allows you to jump into RTS gameplay right off the bat instead of starting off in the Capital City.

当你开始一个新的文明,……读不懂,英语功底不够,怎么还有蝙蝠之类的?(我怀疑他的意思是说可以在游戏里换文明,而不用每次更换文明还要登出游戏?呵呵,猜想)
Gear
Another important topic we want to discuss is gear. We have some changes to announce that should appeal to many of you:
· Legendary quests will only drop Advisors and Equipment that are Rare, Epic or Legendary.
· Non-Legendary quests that can drop level 40 gear will have a chance of dropping Legendary gear.
· Gambled level 40 chests now have a chance of dropping Legendary gear.
· Material Recipes now drop properly.
· Copper Ram Head will now drop properly
大意:我们另一个需要讨论的是物品掉落,具体如下:
传奇任务将只掉落顾问或稀有、史诗、传奇装备;
有四十级奖励箱子的非传奇任务有机会开出传奇的;
赌博商店买的40级箱子有机会开出传奇的物品;

Copper Ram Head(不知道啥意思)可以正确的掉落;
Changes to the Color Coding for Rare Items
大意:为稀有物品更改颜色编码
Color-coding of icon backgrounds remains the same (White, Green, Blue, Purple, Orange for Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary). However, the images of the gear itself will look closer to the real thing in material and color. Visible gear will have a different color and texture according to its rareness. These changes will help you identify the type of equipment your enemy has as well. Here’s a general guide for how to recognize gear rarity:
o Wood or copper = Common
o Bronze = Uncommon
o Silver = Rare
o Gold = Epic
o Black = Legendary
上面主要是教大家如何识别掉落箱子的稀有度:
木头箱子或铜箱=常见奖励;青铜箱=罕见奖励;银箱子=稀有奖励;金箱子是史诗奖励;黑箱子=传奇奖励
