Five For Fithing是一个单人乐队，唯一的队员叫做John-Ondrasik，成长于美国洛杉矶圣法兰多山区谷地，精于歌词、曲创作，是个作家、歌手、吉他手、钢琴家，难得的全才。2002年，他的经典歌曲《superman》通过深入刻划超人内心所不为人知的一面，引出人们内心的无所适从和茫然，成功入围格莱美最佳流行乐团。而这首《100 Years》似乎更受人们欢迎，通过独特的声线，优美的配乐，表达对生命的见解，Five For Fighting的名字就此被人们记下。他第一张专辑《America Town》中，《Easy Tonight》反对几成流行风的自杀潮，《Love Song》以孩子的视角看离婚，《America Town》专辑同名曲则是哀叹美国逐渐蔚为风尚的谎言文化……

《100 Years》是我最喜欢的一首歌，不过也只是近期才开始接受Five For Fighting的风格，而这首《100 Years》，我在一个月内听了200多遍，居然没有腻……Five For Fighing拥有强烈的主观、自主意识，但这并不代表他就能舒适地在美国乐坛生存。近年，美国乐坛逐渐被摇滚、RAP等乐种割据，传统的略带布鲁斯情调的歌曲很难在这里立足。不过，如果John可以把他的乐队（其实也就是他一个人）搬到英国或爱尔兰去，相信他能取得比2002年更大的成功。尽情欣赏。
