The 3D models of this game look good and I will consider the assets for them.

In fact, I wrote a 3dmax script that can render the model's animation assets in 8 directions very quickly.
This script is the top post in PPM https://ppmforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=46620 , this post contains a teaching video.

Although it looks like a Red Alert 2 assets renderer, but it contains a scene of Age of Empires 2.
I recently recommended others to use this script on the MODDB.

我重新渲染了一下…这些动漫人物已经应用到我的RA2MOD了。分别是血小板、贞德、2B、吕布

The first one is from a Japanese animation called Hataraku Saibo (Cells at Work). Second model is a historical person Joan of Arc, but the model origin is from Fate series. Third is from a game called Nier: Automata. I don't know the origin of last one, but the person is from age of three kingdoms.

Has anyone tried to convert any units from rise of nations or civilization 4? they have some good looking units.

This mod has great looking units but I dont know how to extract them.
