Dear Sir/Madam,
We are a group of Chinese Age of Empires Online players from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. After reading Solicest's post at https://forums.ageofempiresonline ... wThread.aspx#218938, we must say it is sad to know you are cutting the Chinese language support for the game. We do understand that localizing a game involves more than simple translation of texts (as what Solicest said in another post at https://forums.ageofempiresonline ... wThread.aspx#219016), but we still want to deliver with this mail the string table xml files with the translation of all texts resource added after the summer patch - yes, some of us are AoE3 modders who also know how AoEO's BAR system works. We believe that the coding changes of the game are not yet finished, or at least not yet irreversible. We could play AoEO without the Chinese game website or in-game sound localization, but the UI translation is just plainly indispensable for most of us, who could hardly understand any English.
This mail and the files we present is to show how much we love AoEO and hope to maintain its Chinese language support. We know that there had been many unpleasant events about our fellow Chinese players, including the dupes, the gold-sellers and cheating actions, but please do not give up on us!
